Ann Liu and Brandon Zhu celebrated their marriage with an intimate civil ceremony at San Francisco City Hall before hosting a highly personalised destination wedding at Amanzoe in Greece. Inspired by Greek mythology, Chinese heritage, and contemporary luxury, the celebration unfolded as a meaningful multi-day experience designed around family, storytelling, and exceptional hospitality.

The couple chose to begin their wedding journey in San Francisco, exchanging vows in a private ceremony surrounded by their closest family. The elegance and simplicity of City Hall provided a meaningful contrast to the celebrations that would follow, allowing them to mark the occasion in an intimate setting before gathering loved ones overseas.

Guests then travelled to Amanzoe in the Peloponnese for a destination wedding weekend set against one of Greece's most spectacular coastal landscapes. Inspired by the resort's temple-like architecture and the mythology of the region, the couple envisioned a celebration that felt timeless, immersive, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Festivities began with an intimate rehearsal dinner overlooking the coastline, followed by a welcome celebration introducing guests to the relaxed atmosphere of the Greek Riviera. A traditional Chinese tea ceremony honoured family traditions and added another layer of meaning to the weekend, seamlessly weaving heritage into the wider celebration.

On the wedding day, guests gathered within Amanzoe's iconic colonnaded setting for a ceremony framed by elegant white florals and sweeping sea views. Ann wore a couture Chanel wedding gown, bringing a refined fashion sensibility to the celebrations that complemented the timeless architecture of the venue.
