HIGHLIGHTS

A designer-bride destination wedding at the Ritz Paris

British model and fashion entrepreneur Betsy and award-winning producer David celebrated their wedding with a luxury destination wedding in Paris at the iconic Ritz Paris. Rooted in couture fashion, bespoke detail, and a distinctly Parisian sense of glamour, the multi-day celebration was designed to feel immersive, intimate, and effortlessly chic.

The wedding weekend began with a welcome evening at Brach Rooftop overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Guests were introduced to the couple’s fashion-led vision through personalised touches including custom hotel key cards, embroidered details, bespoke pillowcases, and playful honeymoon suite styling. Betsy wore a structured corset by Ma Corsetière, fitted at Hotel Costes, setting the tone for the weekend’s editorial aesthetic.

Guests arrived at the Ritz Paris to be welcomed by the hotel’s iconic bellboys before gathering in the Grand Jardin for the ceremony. Soft peach, pink, and red florals framed an asymmetrical floral arch, while bridesmaids wore custom lace designs by Betsy’s label, Somebodie. The couple’s chihuahua, Mister Baby, served as ring bearer alongside a live string quartet.

For the wedding ceremony, Betsy wore Vera Wang and David chose a custom Tom Ford tuxedo. Following cocktails, guests moved into the Salon d’Été, where the Ritz pâtisserie team completed a seven-tier wedding cake finished with hand-iced “Forever” detailing.

Editorial portraits in a white Bentley around Place Vendôme captured the spirit of modern Parisian luxury before dinner and dancing in Salon Vendôme. Guests were welcomed by a live French jazz band, with seating revealed through hand-calligraphed Parisian postcards.

The reception design combined layered neutrals, embroidered linens, personalised details, and custom perfume favours created by the bride. As the evening evolved into a high-energy celebration, guests danced alongside live performances, espresso martinis, towering madeleine displays, and late-night Ritz slippers.

This wedding at the Ritz Paris reflected a modern approach to luxury destination weddings in Paris, combining fashion, guest experience, and bespoke design within one of the city’s most iconic venues.
