HIGHLIGHTS

A Luxury UK Destination Wedding at Wilderness Reserve in the Suffolk Countryside

Fashion designer Blaize and her partner Danny celebrated their wedding with a luxury destination wedding at Heckfield Place, set within the English countryside. Designed for an American couple choosing to marry in England, the multi-day celebration combined fashion-led design, immersive guest experience, and relaxed British elegance across an extended wedding weekend.

The celebration began in London with an intimate dinner at Annabel’s before guests travelled to Heckfield Place for the countryside portion of the weekend. Personalised welcome gifts awaited in each room, including wicker picnic baskets, illustrated itineraries, and custom tickets for a private cinema screening, creating a seamless experience for guests arriving from the United States.

Welcome cocktails and dinner took place in Heckfield’s Walled Gardens beneath a Raj-style tent illuminated with lanterns and gold star detailing. Floral arrangements featuring blooms from the estate’s Home Farm created a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that reflected the natural beauty of the English countryside.

For the wedding day, the design embraced colour, movement, and modern romance. Blaize wore a bespoke duchess satin gown by Phillipa Lepley Couture, while Danny and his groomsmen wore custom black tuxedos by David August Couture. The ceremony featured rolling pink and purple florals surrounding the fountain and steps, while a live string quartet performed Kiss Me as Blaize walked down the aisle.

Following cocktails against Heckfield Place’s iconic red brick façade, guests entered The Marle through a dramatic floral installation. Tables named after cities meaningful to the couple, including New York, Marrakech, and London, were paired with embroidered linen napkins and personalised details throughout the reception.

As the evening evolved into a high-energy celebration, guests moved into a transformed after-party space styled with velvet drapery, a marble checkerboard dance floor, and a dramatic disco ball installation. Espresso martinis, Ottolenghi desserts, and late-night dancing completed the celebration.

This wedding at Heckfield Place reflected a modern approach to luxury destination weddings in England, combining countryside charm, couture fashion, and thoughtful guest experience.
