Fashion editor Charlotte Bickley and British music executive Charlie celebrated their wedding with a design-led, three-day destination celebration in Monaco, drawing inspiration from 1920s Riviera glamour, Slim Aarons photography, classic Mediterranean beach clubs, and the cinematic elegance of Grace Kelly.

Rooted in individuality and a strong sense of place, the couple envisioned a wedding weekend that felt elevated yet relaxed, with the guest experience at its heart. Monaco’s iconic coastal setting - long associated with Old Hollywood, jet-set leisure, and timeless luxury - provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was both refined and unconventional.

Festivities began with an intimate welcome dinner at La Môme, followed by a lively day at Anjuna Beach Club in Èze, channeling the carefree spirit of the Côte d’Azur before a surprise performance by The Gypsy Queens transformed dinner into an unforgettable party.

The wedding day took place at the Monte Carlo Beach Club, chosen for its 1920s architecture and storied Riviera heritage. Charlotte wore a bespoke Elie Saab gown with a Grace Kelly–inspired beauty look, while the bridal party reflected a fashion-forward sensibility in designs by Victoria Beckham, Brandon Maxwell, and Oscar de la Renta in soft pastel hues reminiscent of vintage Riviera postcards.

The ceremony featured a bold striped aisle, coral-toned florals, and a custom chuppah, followed by dinner around the club’s Olympic-sized pool with bespoke tablescapes and illustrated stationery inspired by the venue’s iconic diving board. The celebration concluded with a high-energy after-party, “Club Char,” and late-night celebrations at Sass Café.
