A Fashion-Forward Wedding Set in the English Countryside

Victoire and Jordan celebrated their wedding with a luxury destination wedding weekend at Wilderness Reserve in the Suffolk countryside, welcoming 120 guests from France for a multi-day celebration inspired by English garden romance, fashion, and thoughtful hospitality.

Designed as an immersive countryside experience, the wedding focused heavily on guest experience from the outset. A dedicated concierge service coordinated airport transfers, personalised itineraries, and multilingual on-site support, ensuring a seamless experience for an international guest list travelling to England.

The celebrations began at Blythe Barn on the estate, where guests arrived in a white summer dress code and were welcomed by a live roaming band and surprise speeches from the bride’s family. Cottage accommodations featured personalised welcome hampers with estate maps, wildflower seeds, and local Suffolk delicacies, alongside hand-painted invitations by fashion illustrator Rachelle Cunningham, who later created live guest portraits throughout the weekend.

For the wedding day, Victoire wore a custom Phillipa Lepley gown with a silk tulle veil hand-embroidered with wildflowers, ivy, and roses. The ceremony took place at the 15th-century Holy Trinity Church in Blythburgh, filled with abundant white florals and textured foliage, while the Choir of Royal Holloway performed French hymns for the predominantly French-speaking guests.

Following the ceremony, guests travelled by red London buses to Sibton Park House for an English garden party-inspired reception. A wildflower cocktail menu, live music, and hand-printed escort cards introduced the reception before dinner inside an orangery marquee overlooking the lake. Floral chandeliers, pastel tablescapes, hand-painted menus, and a five-tier cake created a romantic yet refined atmosphere.

The evening concluded with a speakeasy-inspired after-party featuring velvet drapery, martinis, a chinoiserie-style DJ booth, and vintage-inspired styling before a farewell Fire Feast and countryside brunch the following day.

This wedding at Wilderness Reserve reflected a modern approach to luxury destination weddings in England, combining elevated hospitality, fashion-led detail, and classic British countryside charm.
