The ceremony took place in The Orangery with its marble statues, and was further enhanced with a floral backdrop of flowers in warm hues of red, pink and coral. Fluffy pampas grasses provided an exotic touch, as did some of Aynhoe Park’s taxidermy animals. The animals were also the inspiration for the wedding stationery, with delicate gold details on matte grey cardstock. Another stunning focal design point was the gold metallic balloon staircase installation. The day after the wedding featured a Chinese tea ceremony to welcome the married couple into the family.
AN Exotic menagerie
CONCEPT
The curiosity-filled Aynhoe Park is renowned as a venue for the unusual and the entertaining, so was the perfect setting for Anita and Adrien’s French and Chinese fusion wedding. The venue is decorated with a plethora of travel-inspired ornaments, including an exotic menagerie of taxidermy animals, so provided the perfect starting point to create the wedding’s adventurous theme.
