We took inspiration from the bride’s Monique L’Hullier dress to create a stunning tablescape. This featured a bespoke hand-illustrated tablecloth by Susannah Garrod, crockery and glassware for a truly personalised design experience. The spring-inspired flowers were in delicate shades of blue, white, cream and yellow, and were transformed into a dramatic floral archway and floral installation down the centre of the long table. The pale yellow cake took its design from the ornate features of the venue and featured intricate white iced details.

CONCEPT
This editorial came from a desire to produce a celebration of a whole new fashion landscape and inner conversation with brides and their changing vision of weddings. Brides have found liberation in being braver and bolder and more true to themselves in their choices, particularly fashion. As the industry opened up after the pandemic, this project also illustrated a return to nature and using it to heal in subtle ways, such as choosing yellow – the colour of spring, of the sun, and of light and hope.
